2023 Election

IHC is leading a campaign in the build-up to the general election on 14 October calling for political parties to commit to an education system that works for all New Zealanders.

For over three decades well-intended efforts by successive governments have failed disabled students, whānau and educators.

This has to stop.

We need a cross-party agreement to deliver an education system for everyone. The values of equity and inclusion that underpin such a system transcend political differences and we are going to call for political parties to step up.

You can follow our progress and you can join us by asking your political candidates the following questions or questions of your own.
